Erst Aldi, nun Lidl: Auch beim zweiten großen Discounter wird der Kaffee noch einmal günstiger.

Nur wenige Stunden, nachdem Aldi die Preissenkung für Kaffee seiner Eigenmarken angekündigt hat, zieht die Konkurrenz nach: Lidl senkt ebenfalls die Preise für zahlreiche Kaffeeprodukte seiner Eigenmarken. Wie das Unternehmen t-online auf Anfrage mitteilte, sind ab sofort insgesamt 27 verschiedene Kaffee-Artikel im Preis reduziert – um bis zu 70 Cent.

Betroffen sind die Lidl-Eigenmarken „Bellarom“ und „Fairglobe“. Es ist bereits die dritte Preissenkung beim Discounter in diesem Jahr. Zuvor hatte Lidl nach eigenen Angaben als erster Händler die Preise für Markenkaffee reduziert.

Laut Lidl gelten die Preise dauerhaft und bundesweit einheitlich in allen Filialen. Regionale Preisunterschiede gebe es nicht.

Seit einigen Wochen liefern sich Aldi, Lidl und Kaufland einen Preiskampf beim Kaffee. Ob auch Kaufland weiter nachzieht, wird sich zeigen. Günstiger als noch vor Kurzem ist der Kaffee zwar wieder – von den Preisen aus dem Jahr 2023 sind die Discounter aber weit entfernt. Damals lag der Preis für ein Kilogramm Eigenmarken-Bohnen noch unter acht Euro. Der markante Anstieg hat vor allem einen Grund: Schwache Ernten infolge von Trockenheit haben die Rohstoffpreise in die Höhe getrieben.
